Who else is crazy excited that it's finally spring?!
I know I certainly am. Spring means sunshine and birds singing and, umm, maybe even some warm weather. It has been such a harsh, bitterly-cold winter. I can't remember ever being as freezing and miserable as I was this year.
So I'm like BRING ON SPRING!! ♡
Seriously.
Plus, spring means we get to completely revamp our beauty routine, right?! I'm thinking fun, pastel nail colors and darker foundation shades ((since I may get a bit of color after finally being able to stand being outside for more than 10 minutes at a time)) and bright, colorful lipstick!
Clearly, my fav YouTubers are on the same page.
My subscription feed has been overflowing with fun spring tutorials, making me even more excited for the warmer weather! True makeup junkies equate a change in seasons with a change in beauty trends. And it doesn't hurt that spring collections are being released by beauty brands left and right.
So, here I've collected and shared with you some of my favorite spring tutorials that have been inspiring me lately. I'm sure you'll love them just as much as I have been ♡

I'll start with Leslee (MissLeslee229), since you are all familiar with her now after checking out my recent interview with her! ((If you haven't seen it yet, stop now and scroll down a bit. It's my previous post. Then come back :P ))
Firstly, I love that this is a full-face look. I mentioned a few posts ago that tutorials including foundation AND eyes are instantly more appealing to me than ones that simply focus on one or the other. So go Leslee :)
But let's talk about the eyes, since that's what this look is all about. Leslee used almost exclusively L'Oreal Infallible eye shadows, which is what makes this tutorial super unique. Most times, you'll see a guru incorporate one of these super shimmery pigments as a base color all over the lid and that's it. But not this girl - she does everything a bit differently. But it SO works. This tutorial will show you a whole new way to use these Infallible shadows! She's got one on her lid that I've become obsessed with since watching the video. It's called "Always Pearly Pink" and it's, just as the name suggests, a frosty, light pink. I LOVE these kinds of colors. So basically, I need to go get this.
Speaking of pink, I also love the light, bright pink lip Leslee went for here. A soft smoky eye and a fun pink lip pretty much scream SPRING to me. Do you hear it, too? :P

Any avid viewer of Casey (CaseyHolmes) likely noticed that this is certainly one of the lightest looks she has ever posted. No doubt, Casey is gorgeous with or without makeup. But, generally, she's a fan of dramatic false lashes and thick, winged liner.
But, honestly, the minimal makeup used in this look is what I LOVE about it - her true, natural beauty just shines through. This is just the type of look I go for when the weather starts being nice to us. As the temperature increases, the amount of makeup I wear decreases.
Though there are no falsies involved, this look is all about the lashes! Because she chose to use a soft, smoked-out brown pencil liner on her upper lash line rather a harsh, black liquid liner, her gorgeous natural lashes stand out even more.
Plus, this look is also super simple. She used only two shadows on the lid! This is surely a look any makeup lover could easily recreate. I know I will be :)

I'm pretty positive there isn't a beauty junkie out there that isn't obsessed with Ingrid (missglamorazzi). I mean, she has over 2 MILLION subscribers. So it's no surprise her videos are so creative, well-made, and addictive. Especially this one.
Ingrid's makeup in this video is the quintessential spring look.
At least, to me it is. When I think spring, I think COLOR. And by color, I mean on the eyes. Above them, below them, around them, in them. Okay, maybe not in them. But you get the idea.
In spring and summer, we can all get away with loading blue shadow or, in this case, blue liner, all over our eyelid. I love it!!
In this similarly simple look, Ingrid uses a gorgeous teal liner to make her eyes really stand out. But she uses NO eye shadow... Yes, it's true. A tutorial without eye shadow. But it's totally okay. She lined her upper lash line with a dark brown (I think?) liner, and then made it wayyyyy more fun by topping it with that bright teal. By doing that, she made certain that the colored liner really popped! I can't get over have creative and different this eye look is.
It's definitely something I'll be trying out this season! Will you??

Last, but surely not least, we need to talk about Amanda (Amanda Ensing) and how she is totally on my makeup wavelength. Adding bright pops of color under the eyes is my go-to look for spring and summer! I really got into this type of makeup last year and went crazy with it. I bought basically every color of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils just to use for throwing some color onto my lower lash line.
Amanda does things a little differently here though. She used a LIP liner to create that amazing pop of fuchsia! Innovative, huh? She then set it with a beautiful matching pigment. Usually, I shy away from using this type of pink on my eyes for some reason; I tend to stick to lighter, shimmery shades. But Amanda's convinced me to change my ways :)
While the pop of color under the eye is totally inspirational and right up my alley, I personally wouldn't go for such a dramatic winged liner. I think the focus should be on the pink and the heavy liner is a bit distracting. But, on Amanda, it looks flawless and effortless. If only I could do the same... #thestruggle
